Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of WaterDamageConnect. By creating an account, listing a business, submitting a lead, or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may update Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Registered users will be notified of material changes via email.

WaterDamageConnect is an online directory connecting homeowners with water damage restoration contractors. We are a platform intermediary only. We do NOT: • Employ, endorse, or warrant any listed Contractor • Guarantee quality or safety of any Contractor's services • Participate in or supervise work between users • Handle payments between Homeowners and Contractors Any agreement or dispute between users is solely between those parties.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to: • Provide accurate and complete registration information • Maintain and update your account information • Keep your password confidential • Notify us immediately of unauthorized account access • Be responsible for all activity under your account • Not share your account credentials You must be at least 18 years old. We may suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms.

Contractors listing on WaterDamageConnect agree to: • Provide accurate, truthful business information • Maintain valid licenses, insurance, and certifications • Not misrepresent qualifications or services • Respond to leads professionally and timely • Comply with all applicable laws • Not engage in fraudulent practices We may remove or suspend listings at our sole discretion. Free listings do not guarantee placement. Paid/Featured listings are billed monthly and cancel at end of billing period.

By submitting reviews or content, you: • Grant WaterDamageConnect a royalty-free license to use and display your content • Warrant content is truthful and based on genuine experience • Agree not to post fake, misleading, or defamatory reviews • Agree not to post offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content We may remove content violating these Terms. Contractors may not solicit fake reviews or offer review incentives.

You agree NOT to: • Use the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes • Post false or fraudulent information • Impersonate any person or entity • Scrape or harvest platform data without permission • Attempt unauthorized access to any platform area • Use bots or automated scripts • Send spam or unsolicited communications • Post content infringing intellectual property rights Violations may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any Contractor will perform satisfactory work. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WATERDAMAGECONNECT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR AMOUNTS PAID TO US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WaterDamageConnect and its team from claims, damages, and expenses arising from: • Your use of the platform • Your violation of these Terms • Your violation of third-party rights • Work performed between you and another user • Inaccurate information you provide

All platform content — text, graphics, logos, icons, software — is owned by WaterDamageConnect and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent. The WaterDamageConnect name, logo, and marks are trademarks of WaterDamageConnect, LLC.

These Terms are governed by US law. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration per American Arbitration Association rules. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits. Small claims and injunctive relief may be pursued in courts of competent jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in full force.
